Bold Hold's unique, water-based formulas are non-toxic and designed to provide a lightweight, superior, lasting hold for lace front wigs and hair systems without causing damage to the scalp, lace, or edges. The formulas go on white and dry clear, creating a strong invisible bond that is water and humidity resistant, lasting 2-3 weeks.

Unlike other lace glues and wig adhesives that contain harsh ingredients, Bold Hold Active and Extreme Creme are made with non-toxic, 100% latex-free components. These skin-friendly formulations are odorless and lab-tested to be safe if applied by a certified professional. It is recommended to use Bold Hold's Skin Protect product and always perform a 24-hour patch test before use to check for sensitivity.

Proper application is key to achieving the best results. Gently clean the skin with soapy water and remove body oils with a mild astringent or Bold Hold Lace Remover, being careful not to scrub or abrase the skin. Apply a thin layer of Bold Hold, up to 7 layers, allowing the adhesive to dry clear between applications. Then, apply the lace to the clear glue, dry with a cool hairdryer, and style as desired. To remove, use Bold Hold Lace Remover.
